COLOUR CONTROL Farbmesstechnik GmbH is a german based company providing design services and product engineering. Our staff has sophisticated skills in both hardware and software development projects.
As shown in a lot of successful finished projects there is competence in both analog and digital hardware design using microcontrollers, DSP and FPGA. The product range comprises colour measurement equipment, infrared spectroscopes, industrial control equipment and human machine interfaces.
We can offer technical consultance and design services as well as manufacturing and life cycle management through a scalable and certified supply chain for both electronic and optic products.

Colour Measurement Systems

One important branch of business is colour measurement. As standard products we offer handheld devices - mainly used in printing industry, but applications can also be found in textile, varnish colour, plastics industry or in automotive branches. Additional devices cover gloss determination or print density documentation.
Besides, we are specialized in delivering customized solutions for online colour measurements. Those sensor systems comprise true spectral colour sensors within a measurement head withstanding rough environments and appropriate software tools for process control and documentation. High precise contactless colour supervision combined with extremely long life flash lamps allow operational areas even at fast moving conveyor belts.

Camera Solutions

As an OEM manufacturer we provide digital camera systems for industrial use. Due to special dazzle free CMOS sensors, our cameras are well suited to observe scenes with extremely high dynamic range as can be found for instance in welding processes. Application fields range from traffic control to process automation. 
Camera firmware can be perfectly adapted to meet any customer's image processing requirements, for we are able to modify the sensor control logic. Features like active windowing an image preprocessing in the camera are also available. By combining several camera hardware modules, we can supply solutions even for prototypes quickly.

Infrared Sensing

In the field of infrared sensing, we offer inexpensive solutions to detect NIR spectra. This is possible by using a novel MEMS mirror which allows to replace expensive sensor arrays by single element sensors. The corresponding small OEM spectrometer modules are equipped with an USB interface and thus can be easily integrated in customer systems. Several spectral ranges and resolutions are available on request. Typical applications can be found in food industry, medical monitoring, gas analysis and process control.
