CHINA MED 2012 Opens with Diversified High-quality Exhibits and More International Brands

Beijing, March 23, 2012 -- The 24th International Medical Instruments and Equipment Exhibition (CHINA MED 2012), organized by Health Department of General Logistics Department, Chinese People's Liberation Army, China World Trade Center Co., Ltd., Huitong Xingye International Exhibition (Beijing) Co., Ltd. and Messe Düsseldorf (Shanghai) Co., Ltd., opens today at China National Convention Center to bring together domestic and overseas medical equipment manufacturers, medical institutions, scholars and experts to this year's first grand international event of China's medical device industry.

Despite the global economy remains sluggish, China's medical device industry is maintaining a rapid growth. Academic conferences to lead medical advances, China's Market to remain sustainably attractive

Academic conferences during CHINA MED have always been another important attraction to the visitors. This year 9 conferences are to be held to explore the issues of orthopedics, ultrasound, radiotherapy, radiographic imaging, nuclear medicine, critical care medicine, laboratory, medical engineering and physical medicine and rehabilitation. In addition, China Medical Association and it branches, and Chinese Society of Biomedical Engineering will host several seminars. Noteworthy is the fact that the Organizers of CHINA MED will, for the first time, join hands with the Medical Journal of Chinese People's Liberation Army to hold an academic conference, and have the received papers and in-depth feature stories published in the journal. For the first time in history, China manafactured more than RMB 100 billion worth of medical devices in 2010, being a top producer of many devices.
