Excellent Exhibitor Recruitment of wire & Tube China 2012 Concluded with Encouraging Results

Asia’s No.1 wire, cable, tube and pipe industry exhibitions, the 5th All China - International Wire & Cable Industry Trade Fair (wire China 2012) and the 5th All China – International Tube & Pipe Industry Trade Fair (Tube China 2012) will be held concurrently again in Shanghai New International Expo Centre from 25 to 28 September, 2012. By the end of May, exhibitor recruitment has concluded with encouraging results. The exhibitor promotion went smoothly, and booths of the two exhibitions have almost been booked up. Both new and old exhibitors applied very actively to get on board of the ideal platform for them to meet the industry again, many of who have requested to expand the booth area to enhance their exposure.

Up to now, a total number of 752 companies from 26 countries have confirmed their participation in wire China 2012. The main product groups of wire China 2012 cover wire manufacturing & finishing machinery, process technology tools, auxiliary process technology materials, materials, special wires & cables, measuring & control technology, test engineering, and specialist areas. In this September, from Hall W1 to W5 of Shanghai New International Expo Center, a number of manufacturers from Europe, America, Japan and other countries, as well as Taiwan Region will once again gather together. Tube China 2012 boasts with 395 exhibitors from 13 countries. It occupies Hall E1 to E3, where you will see the complete spectrum ranging from pipe and tube production, processing, to trade. Ranges consist of tubes & accessories, tube manufacturing machinery, process technology tools & auxiliaries, measuring & control technology, specialist areas, stockists of tubes of all kinds, and profiles & machinery, etc. Besides all the domestic renowned exhibitors, most of the international exhibitors come from Europe, Japan, Korea and Taiwan Region. Development of the industry determines the prospects of the exhibition. This year, more active participation attitude of the major manufacturers undoubtedly showed great confidence and expectations of the industry for China wire, cable and tube markets. Since 1996, China has maintained the position of world Top 1 for the steel output. In 2011, China’s crude steel production has accounted for 46% of world production. The total capacity of domestic steel industry is 72 million tons per year, which makes China may well be called a big steel country in the world. Wire and cable industries are even more prosperous. Especially in recent years, the transformation of China urbanization, the accelerated construction of power grids, and ultra high voltage, submarine cables, wind power projects etc. have stimulated the market demand for high-tech and high-quality cable and pipe products. In the past 15 years, the average annual growth of the industry has up to more than 15%, and the current domestic cable industry output is over RMB 900 billion. China has become the largest wire and cable manufacturing and consuming markets in the world. Following the market trends, wire & Tube China 2012 just come in a timely manner to meet the growing demand, and is bound to become a powerful catalyst for the sustainable development of wire, cable and tube industry in the next few years.

wire China 2012 is jointly organized by Shanghai Electric Cable Research Institute and Messe Düsseldorf (Shanghai) Co., Ltd., while Tube China 2012 is jointly organized by Metallurgical Council of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (MC-CCPIT) and Messe Düsseldorf (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. Based on the success of past editions, it is expected to achieve a new zenith this year. The two exhibitions are estimated to occupy 7.5 halls, covering a total of 85,000 square meters.
