In the second half of the year, many cities in China began to hold physical exhibitions. According to the annual statistics, the total exhibition area of these 6 events reached more than 250,000 square meters. The 6 Exhibitions Happened Reflect Obvious Market Recovery Trends

As the flagship event in Asia, the 100th China International Occupational Safety & Health Goods Expo (CIOSH) took the lead as one of the first exhibitions held in China, opening its door at Shanghai New International Expo Center from July 3rd to 5th. During the three-day physical event, 1,035 exhibitors and 21,207 visitors communicated face to face, showcased the latest products and learnt future trends, which injected a boost for the global occupational safety industry recovery.

 

In the beginning of September, C-star - Shanghai's International Trade Fair for Solutions and Trends All about Retail, the satellite event of the world's leading retail exhibition-EuroShop, arrived as scheduled. From September 2nd to 4th, C-star welcomed 134 exhibitors and 9,006 professional visitors in Shanghai, building a high-quality bridge between retailers and retail solution providers.

 

On the other hand, the "barometer" of the Asian wire and tube industry-wire China and Tube China were also successfully held at the end of September in Shanghai. The two exhibitions brought together 953 exhibitors, with a total of 36,552 trade visitors participated. The exhibitions have undoubtedly become an excellent place for relevant industry peers to meet again after half a year.

 

While the calendar turned to October, the latest technologies, products and applications of the entire printing and packaging industry appeared in the 8th All in Print China, the largest printing show in 2020. During the critical period of economic recovery, 687 companies in the printing industry finally participated in the exhibition, attracted nearly 70,000 visitors: fully demonstrating the momentum and vitality of the development of China's printing industry. In addition, innovative campaigns such as the All in Print Cloud, KOL Guiding, and online matchmaking also enriched the interactive experience between exhibitors and visitors.

 

Towards the end of the year, MDS brought a perfect ending to the challenging 2020 business year with a hearty wine and spirits exhibition ProWine China. Under the influence of the global pandemic, the ProWine China team strove to its full strength and brought together 400 boutique wineries and premium wine producers from 17 countries and regions. At the same time, the 3-day event also attracted 22,542 local producers, importers, distributors and key buyers, an increase of 9.2% over the previous event.

 

2021 Outlook

"Going Strong as the Industry Leader" this phrase not only summarizes the exhibition platform's responsibility to promote market development, but also reflects its firm commitment to an organic coexistence with the industry. Although the global exhibition industry has encountered unprecedented difficulties in 2020, those experience of facing and successfully overcoming them has made every MDSer even stronger and laid a solid foundation for the success of the next exhibition cycle.

 

In 2021, MDS will usher in the return of more projects. Nine consecutive exhibitions will be held in China. It is expected that the total area will reach 600,000 square meters, serving 8,000 companies and over 400,000 professional buyers.

 

As the first MDS show in 2021, the CIOSH - China International Occupational Safety & Health Goods Expo will introduce a full range of manufacturing safety and health protective equipment to workers at Shanghai New International Expo Center on 14th

-16th April. Soon after, ProWine in Hong Kong will grandly open in Hong Kong SAR on 12th - 14th May, where is recognized as the essential hub for the Asia Pacific wines and spirits markets. On the other hand, the All in CARAVANING will continue to contribute to the development of the RV industry and the popularization of RV culture with its opening in June.
