CHINA-PHARM 2013 Grandly Concluded Highlighting Confidence and Business Opportunity of the Pharmaceutical Market

The 18^th China International Pharmaceutical Industry Exhibition (CHINA-PHARM) co-sponsored by China Center for Pharmaceutical International Exchange and Messe Düsseldorf (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. was grandly concluded on 1^st November, 2013 in Shanghai New International Expo Centre. As a leading professional exhibition with international reputation, CHINA-PHARM will power the development of pharmaceutical equipment in domestic and overseas with the implementation of newly revised GMP.

With an exhibition area of 23,000 square meters, the exhibition lasted 4 days. 421 exhibitors from 21 countries and regions showcased their cutting-edge products and technologies under one roof. UK pavilion, Taiwan Pavilion and Italy Corporation Pavilion organized by Club Italy showed their members at CHINA-PHARM. The recruitment of trade visitors was a great success due to workable publicity campaigns before the exhibition. During the exhibition, there was an endless flow of visitors. Statistics show that 20,443 visits hit at CHINA-PHARM 2013. Visitors come from sectors like manufacturing of medicine, biological products, API/intermediates/chemicals, professional trade and agency, manufacturing of health care products/food/cosmetics, medical business/consultancy, academic institutes/universities, associations, media and relevant governments. The exhibition received trade visitors from 60 countries and regions. That is another sign of CHINA-PHARM’s international influence and expertise. The exhibition hosted 23 professional buyer groups from different countries and regions.  

Exciting concurrent events & technology exchanges and hot topics exploration to broaden industry outlook in CHINA-PHARM

Several events were concurrently held with CHINA-PHARM, such as ISPE-CCPIE China Conference 2013, 2013 PDA/CCPIE Symposium on Sterile Pharmaceutical Manufacturting, Excipient GMP Forum, Pharmaceutical Industry Clean Technology Forum, and relevant professional technology exchanges for in-depth discussions and exchanges of technical issues in the pharmaceutical field and for introduction of advanced technologies and products from multiple perspectives, such as policy, science and technology, and commercial development. Exhibitors and visitors spoke highly of the concurrent events for the active participation. Among them, the ISPE-CCPIE China Conference was co-sponsored by China Center for Pharmaceutical International Exchange and the International Society for Pharmaceutical Engineering with strong supports from Center for Certification of Drug of CFDA, and the PDA/CCPIE Symposium on Sterile Pharmaceutical Manufacturing was supported by Parenteral Drug Association (PDA). The 2^nd CHINA-PHARM Pharmaceutical and Biological Talent Exchanges were also organized concurrently with this exhibition as a platform of communication for biological and pharmaceutical enterprises and job seekers to proceed with onsite recruiting.
