The four-day CHINAPLAS 2026 successfully concluded on April 24 at the National Exhibition and Convention Center (NECC), Hongqiao, Shanghai, PR China. This premier annual event of the global plastics and rubber industries set a new record, with an exhibition area of 400,000 sqm, 5,104 high-quality local and overseas exhibitors, and 350,189 professional visitors. It fully demonstrated the strong resilience and innovativeness vitality of the plastics and rubber supply chain, injecting momentum into the high-quality development of the industry.

Over the three-day event, total visitor attendance hit 17,090, including 458 overseas visitors — representing a 25.48% year-on-year increase from the previous edition and a new record. This underscores AIC's distinct international positioning. 

Spanning 80,000 square meters, the exhibition brought together 1,364 leading domestic and international enterprises. It served as a premier platform for showcasing cutting-edge products and innovative solutions across the personal protective equipment (PPE) and industrial safety technology sectors, attracting 43,750 professional visitors for business exchange.

In 2025, Messe Düsseldorf in China maintained a positive development trajectory, successfully organizing a total of 10 trade fairs covering sectors such as packaging, medical devices, rehabilitation, rubber and plastics, occupational safety and health, wine and spirits, and caravaning. These events collectively attracted 8,525 domestic and international exhibitors and 438,000 professional visitors, with a total exhibition area reaching about 607,000 square meters.
