Sino-Euro Exchange: Great Learning Experience for the Chinese Delegation to CARAVAN SALON DÜSSELDORF 2015!

During 28^th August to 6^th September, 2015, the 54^th CARAVAN SALON DÜSSELDORF opened its door to around 202,000 industry professionals and caravan enthusiasts from across the world. The trade fair’s own campground, the Caravan Center, has also recorded more than 70,000 overnight stays. As the growth continues, the CARAVAN SALON DÜSSELDORF 2015 involved a vast range of exhibits by 590 exhibitors from 29 countries.

 

The excellent mood and lively atmosphere on-site reflected the current caravaning boom in the first half-year in Europe. The German caravaning industry continued its rapid ascent in the first seven months of the year, as sales volume of motor homes and caravans jumped to 36,646, a massive increase of 10.4% over the same period last year.

 

Under the arrangements of Messe Düsseldorf (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. and the China Association of Automotive Manufacturers Recreational Vehicle Industry Committee (CMRV), a 39-membered Chinese delegation led by Mr.Ye Shengji, Deputy Secretary General of the China Association of Automotive Manufacturers, completed its study tour across Europe. As according to the schedule, the delegation paid a visit to the CARAVAN SALON DÜSSELDORF 2015 and held talks with the German Caravaning Industry Association (CIVD).They were also invited to a VIP party by the WRVC (World RV Conference). Moreover, the delegation’s tour covered visits to the Tournon factory of Trigano (the biggest French caravan manufacturer), Bonometti (the biggest Italian caravan distributor), 5-star campground union           Lido in Italy, Tecnoform (Italian caravan/camper furniture manufacturer) and Sevel factory of Fiat Group (Europe’s biggest caravan chassis supplier).
