We are well prepared to give you a safe business platform!

We are looking forward to welcoming you soon at all trade fairs held at Düsseldorf fairground!

For us, the safety of all employees, customers and guests has the highest priority. This also applies to the current coronavirus (2019-nCoV). As an exhibitor or visitor of any trade fair organised by Messe Düsseldorf, you can expect a high level of hygiene, safety and good medical care at the Düsseldorf trade fair grounds as usual.

The medical facilities at the Düsseldorf Exhibition Centre have the latest information at all times and are well prepared. There are clearly defined procedures for looking after anyone on the premises of the exhibition centre who suddenly develops symptoms of a serious disease. These procedures were developed and tested at the time of SARS, the Influenza A (H1N1) virus and also EHEC. As a precautionary measure, additional hand disinfection stations are set up and the cleaning intervals for contact surfaces are in-creased.

According to the WHO, the Robert Koch Institute and the German authorities, the risk of infection with this new pathogen in Germany is currently very low. Close contact be-tween all the relevant stakeholders ensures that new findings are shared, that infor-mation is provided and that available procedures for the trade fair grounds are modified to suit a given situation.

An overview of official information providers on the coronavirus can be found on the website of Messe Düsseldorf: https://www.messe-duesseldorf.com/Safety.

Düsseldorf has always been a centre of German-Asian friendship and business. Public life is not restricted due to the topic around the coronavirus. Chinese exhibitors and visitors can continue to travel to Düsseldorf unless they come from the affected regions with travel restrictions imposed by the People's Republic of China. For more detailed information on this contact the Federal Foreign Office.

The health authorities at Düsseldorf Airport as well as at the airports in Hamburg, Frank-furt, Munich and Berlin are currently coordinating closely with Robert Koch Institute and the German Ministry of Transport and have prepared information material for travellers arriving from China.
