High-end Industry Conference Receives Extensive Affirmation from Insiders

wire and Tube China 2010 is not only an extraordinary trade platform but also a pivotal communication and extension platform for insiders. During the exhibition period, the organizer holds different types of concurrent events, such as China International Tube & Pipe Conference, China Wire & Cable Industry Conference, Wire & Cable Raw & Auxiliary Materials Technical Exchange Conference, and Wire & Cable Equipment Technology Seminar etc. Therein, the China International Tube & Pipe Conference convenes insiders to jointly discuss a series of industry hotspot topics like current market and future development of China steel pipe industry, the petroleum industry and high-performance steel pipe, and research of contemporary high-performance OCTG products etc. China Wire & Cable Industry Conference focuses on the theme “Plan the Development of China Wire & Cable Industry during the 12th Five-year Plan”, and at the conference, the Electric Wire & Cable Branch of China Electric Equipment Industrial Association firstly introduces the draft of the industry’s development planning during the 12th five-year plan, in order to solicit opinions from insiders. At the meantime, the organizer invites domestic renowned economists, overseas famed survey firms, international associations & organizations, and Taiwan Electric Wire & Cable Industries Association to make keynote and special reports with respect to the development trend of domestic & overseas macroeconomic situation, international cable manufacturing industry, and overseas power cable and Taiwan-based power cable manufacturing industries etc. Aside from that, the “Industry Development Forum” is held during the conference period, and it invites famous persons in the industry to discuss how enterprises can achieve development during the 12th five-year plan period, for the purpose of agglomerating and sharing innovative philosophies and wisdoms.

Market Demands Power the Industry’s Development

Booming market economy underlies the exhibition’s success. Year 2010 is considered as the final year of China’s 11th Five-year Plan, and driven by the state’s “4-Trillion-Yuan Investment Plan” and the implementation of the “10 Major Industries’ Adjustment and Rejuvenation Plan”, China cable and tube industry will step into another fast-growing phase. By now, the total output of wire and cable (conductor consumption) in China has surpassed that in USA, and so China becomes the world No. 1 wire & cable producer. Particularly in 2010, the industry’s output and productivity hit a historical high. Needless to say, China is also the world’s largest pipe materials & components producer and consumer. In 2010, the output of crude steel in China is estimated to rocket to 600 million tons, and that steel tube’s output and consumption will likely arrive at a new high. That will bring favorable development opportunities for China International Wire & Cable Industry Trade Fair and the China International Tube & Pipe Industry Trade Fair.

wire China 2010, jointly organized by Shanghai Electric Cable Research Institute (SECRI) and Messe Düsseldorf China Ltd., and Tube China 2010, jointly organized by Metallurgical Council of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (MCCCPIT) and Messe Düsseldorf China Ltd.. Inheriting eminent performances of previous three exhibitions, wire and Tube China 2010 has become the Asia’s largest and the world’s second largest professional exhibition in the industry, and it is touted as the optimal platform for insiders to develop Chinese market and Asian trade opportunities, and to communicate with one another.
